Dear Families,
We are now in the business of recycling our fruit and
vegetable scraps from our lunches! Our
guest speaker, Joel, brought us the supplies to create our own compost
bin. We set up a scientific notebook to
log the weight of our food scraps. We
may decide to sell the nutrient rich compost.
We are learning to speak Spanish. Today we played Valentine Bingo in
Spanish. If you listen to the
conversations during lunchtime, you may hear us asking one another questions or
singing a song in Spanish.
