RiverRun students have been enjoying using many art materials and supplies purchased with money from our $2,500 arts grant from the Mason-Kahn foundation. We are also in the process of getting a new computer for the classroom with this grant money. Many thanks to Wolf Kahn, Emily Mason, and Melany Kahn for this grant!
Last week RiverRun students made clay pinch pots, in the style used long ago during the early days of our country. Now that they are dry, some students choose to add color with tempera paints.
Students enjoyed using tempera paints to depict subjects of their choice on wood. Several students captured the outside landscape as we had our first day of snow!
