Community Visitor - Thanksgiving-themed Feast

The class welcomed Benny's mom to the classroom yesterday to discuss their Thanksgiving-themed November luncheon, which will be on Friday, November 19.  Preparing a Thanksgiving feast is a lot of work, so the kids each put on a "thinking cap" to help get them in the mood to think about menu planning and cooking.  They also talked about how math is incorporated into cooking and will be working on recipe serving conversions.  The young chefs came up with a terrific menu and are looking forward to sharing their creations with you on the 19th!
